There's no fixed price for a gas safety certificate. As a rough guide, a single-appliance CP12 usually costs about £60 to £90, with the UK average around £80. What you actually pay depends on your region, how many appliances need checking, and whether it's bundled with other work.
The main things that move the price are the number of gas appliances, fittings and flues to be checked, the region and local demand, whether the engineer charges a separate call-out fee, and whether the check is bundled with a boiler service or an EICR, which usually works out cheaper than booking each job on its own.
Prices vary a lot, so get a couple of quotes. Whatever you pay, the check itself can only be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and this guide is general information on typical costs, not a quote.
