What is a CP12 app?
Software a Gas Safe registered engineer uses to complete the landlord gas safety check on site and produce the Landlord Gas Safety Record (CP12) digitally. The app handles capture, the certificate PDF, storage and renewal reminders. The certificate itself still comes from the registered engineer and the in-person check; no app can make an inspection valid on its own.
Can I do a CP12 on my phone?
Yes. In Manifold you complete the check on the phone at the property: appliance register, checks, readings, photos and signature, all working offline. The certificate is generated from what you captured, on site or as soon as you sync.
Is a digital CP12 legally valid?
A Landlord Gas Safety Record is valid because a Gas Safe registered engineer carried out the check and issued it, not because of the format. Digital records produced by a registered engineer are standard practice; what matters is that the record is complete, accurate and delivered to the landlord and tenant.
How much does a CP12 app cost?
