Glow-worm boilers

Glow-worm is a value-focused UK brand (part of the Vaillant Group). Ranges such as Energy, Ultimate3 and Betacom4 are common on budget-conscious domestic work. As part of the Vaillant Group, Glow-worm often shares parts and servicing knowledge with its sister brand, and its ranges are generally positioned as a more affordable alternative to some premium UK boiler makers, which is commonly cited as part of the appeal for cost-conscious households and landlords managing several properties.

Finding Glow-worm manuals and GC numbers

For the exact outputs, gas rates and commissioning figures on any Glow-wormappliance, work from its data plate and the manufacturer’s installation and servicing instructions. The GC (Gas Council) number and serial are on the data plate. Glow-worm publishes manuals and support at Glow-worm support.

Manifold is not affiliated with or endorsed by Glow-worm. Brand and model names are used only to help engineers find the right resources. Specifications and available variants change by year and model, so always work from the appliance’s data plate and the manufacturer’s own installation and servicing manual. Gas work must be carried out by an appropriately Gas Safe registered engineer.

Every appliance, every property, in one place.

Manifold keeps a per-property appliance register with makes, models, photos and past records, so nothing gets re-typed. In early access for UK gas engineers.
